  1) What is independent cinema and how is it different to Hollywood blockbusters?  An independent cinema is where one that is made outside of the conventional Hollywood film studio system. Independent films are different to Hollywood blockbusters because they have WAY higher costs (350billion), they have more famous actor's and they have larger audiences. 2) What is I, Daniel Blake about? I, Daniel Blake is a scathing indictment of the British benefits system. The main message is that 59 year old widower Daniel Blake who suffers a heart attack and becomes unable to work.
